The Vietnam National Assembly Standing Committee Approve E-Visa Program for Another Two Years

The Vietnam National Assembly Standing Committee just approved to continue the E-Visa program for another 2 years on October 16^th 2018.

E-Visa program is the visa policy which allows the applicants to get Vietnam electronic visa online. It was first published in October 2016 and has gained many good comments from the foreigners.

In October 2016, the E-Visa program is issued on Resolution No.30/2016/QH14 by the National Assembly, and it is valid until February 2019. According the first issuance, the citizens of 40 countries are eligible to apply a Vietnam E-Visa.

In the end of 2017, the Vietnam National Assembly added 6 countries more to the list, increasing the total country to 46 country.

Many foreigners visit Vietnam by using this E-Visa. A E-Visa allows the holder to enter Vietnam within 30 days single entry at the airports, border check points or sea ports. This E-Visa is also convenient because the applicants can apply online, do not need to come to the embassy for a far distance.

With the desire to help the foreigners to enter Vietnam more easier, the Vietnam National Assembly considered and decided to extend this program until January 2021. The above 46 countries’ citizens can apply to get this visa online up to 2021.
