1. Ha Long Bay

 

 

Located on the West Bank of the Tonkin Gulf, Cam Pha City and Part of Van Don Island District, Quang Ninh Province, Ha Long Bay has a 120 km coastline with an area about 1,533 square kilometers including 1,969 large and small islands. 2. Thien Mu Pagoda (Hue City)

 

 

Thien Mu Pagoda also knowns as Linh Mu Pagoda, is the ancient pagoda located on Ha Khe Hill, left bank of Huong River, about 5 km west of Hue City center. It was built in Tan Suu year (1601), the year of the first Lord Nguyen Hoang.

With natural beauty and large scale, Thien Mu Pagoda became the most beautiful pagoda of that time.

 

 3. Hoan Kiem Lake (Hanoi City)

 

Also knowns as Ho Guom, this is the natural freshwater lake of Hanoi City, has an area of about 12 hectares. Previously, the lake was named as Luc Thuy Lack, Thuy Quan Lake, Ta Vong and Huu Vong lake, the name of Hoan Kiem appeared in the 15 century associated with the legend of Le Thai To King that he repaid the sword to the Turtle God.

 

4. Hoi An Old City

 

Located on the northern bank of Thu Bon River, about 25 km southeast of Da Nang City, about 50 km northeast of Tam Ky. From the 16th and 17th centuries, this place was known as a trading center for Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese and Italian in Southeast Asia.

5. Phu Quoc Island

 

The island is also known as Ngoc Island, the largest island in Vietnam and it is also the largest island in a population of 22 islands in the Gulf of Thailand. The whole island district has a total area of 589.23 square kilometers. Phu Quoc has been ranked to be one of the “13 pristine and beautiful beaches” in the world. In addition, Phu Quoc is the place to produce a fish sauce which is not only famous in Vietnam but also in worldwide.

6. Sapa terraces

 

Sapa is a highland town in northwestern Vietnam, where terraces are beautiful, which looks like stretching as they rise to the sky. With spectacular natural scenery, poetic moments, mysterious markets and delicious cuisine, Sapa has “enchanted” most of the visitors when they arrived here.

7. Mui Ne

 

It is a popular tourist center of the South Central, 22 km north of Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province, where it is a strip of unspoiled green coastline with red sand hills that stretching and fishing villages of Vietnam pure sea.

8. Mekong Delta

 

As part of Mekong Delta, also known as Southern Plains Delta or the South West Delta, the total area is 40,548.2 square kilometers. Due to the long coastline and the Mekong River divided into many tributaries of rivers, canals, islands, and archipelagoes, this place is suitable for ecotourism, experience, and exploration.

9. Nha Trang City

 

It is a coastal city and a political, economic, cultural and tourist center of Khanh Hoa Province in the South Central Coast of Vietnam. The sea lagoon is famous for its cuisine, Yen’s Nests, which is known as one of the most nutritious delicacies enjoyed by kings 400 years ago.
