1/ Current visa: Tourist visa DL type

If you enter Vietnam through tourist visa which is marked as DL type on your visa sticker, you have these following options for extension:

  • If your current visa is 1-month tourist visa, you can extend for 15 days (fee for extension is 100 USD), 1 month (fee for extension is 100 USD), 2 months (fee for extension is 200 USD), or 3 months (fee for extension is 300 USD),
  • If your current visa is 3-month tourist visa, you can extend 1 month (fee for extension is 100 USD), 2 months (fee for extension is 200 USD), or 3 months (fee for extension is 300 USD),
  • If your current visa is 1-year tourist visa, you can extend 1 month (fee for extension is 100 USD), 2 months (fee for extension is 200 USD)or 3 months (fee for extension is 300 USD)

2/ Current visa: Business visa DN type

If you came Vietnam by a business visa which is marked as DN type, you can process these visa extension options:

  • If your current visa is 1-month business visa, you can extend for 1 month (the price for visa extension is 90 USD), or 3 months (the price for visa extension is 150 USD)
  • If your current visa is 3-month business visa, you can extend for 1 month (the price for visa extension is 90 USD), or 3 months (the price for visa extension is 150 USD)
  • If your current visa is 1-year business visa, you can extend for 1 month (the price for visa extension is 90 USD), or 3 months (the price for visa extension is 150 USD)

3/ Entering through visa extension 15 days or 30 days

  • If you enter Vietnam by 15-day visa exemption, you can extend 15 days (visa extension fee is 100 USD), 1 months (visa extension fee is 150 USD) or 3 months (visa extension fee is 220 USD)
  • If you enter Vietnam by 30-day visa exemption, you can extend 15 days (visa extension fee is 100 USD), 1 months (visa extension fee is 150 USD) or 3 months (visa extension fee is 220 USD)

4/ Entering through 5-year extension certificate

  • If you enter Vietnam by 5-year visa exemption, you can extend 1 month (extension quotation is 100 USD), 3 months (extension quotation is 190 USD) or 6 months (extension quotation is 220 USD)
