The approval letter is the first document in the Visa On Arrival process you need to have. It will take you 48 working hours to get it via email. If you are going to apply for it in the weekend, the approval letter will be sent on next Monday or Tuesday, it won’t be sent right after. Therefore, If you apply with a normal service, you can’t get the approval letter at the weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Some special cases can use the overtime service to get the approval letter at the weekend?

You can apply for an urgent weekend service to get the approval letter at Saturday or Sunday. These cases can be:

• You are urgent to work and rushed to go to Vietnam in the weekend, the early Monday morning or Vietnamese public holidays.
• You have to go to Vietnam to handle some problems in emergency.
• You already booked the flight ticket in the weekend, but there are some mistakes about your visa and you have to make it again because the flight ticket is unable to be changed.

How long does this service take to get the approval letter?

If you are in emergency, you need to require the express service to get the approval letter earlier. The letter will just take you about 4 hours to be sent to you via email in the same day. You will be needing to pay for the extra fee to process letter at the overtime.

Who can’t apply for the approval letter with the overtime service?

There are some countries cannot get visa urgently at the weekend: This service is not applicable for those who are the citizens of Africa (except South Africa), Western Asia and Middle East.

How to apply for the approval letter at the weekend?

Through a few simple steps as below, you will easily apply for it in the weekend:

Step 1: Complete the online visa application form by fill in all required information such as name, date of birth, passport (the number and the validity), the type of visa (the length of stay with multiple or single entry)… and don’t forget to choose the express service.

Step 2: Do the online payment (a little higher than normal process)

Step 3: Receive the approval letter after 4 hours via email.

Then, you will be needing to print it out and present it for boarding the airplane. With the approval letter, you should be ready with other documents to submit at the Visa On Arrival counter and get the visa stamp:

• The approval letter (print it out)
